"Paulina Otylie Surys is a Polish born, UK based photographer and fine artist. Her images are a hybrid of vintage and modern, she uses innovative techniques, experimenting with mixes of toners, chemicals and inks over dry dyes to create this unique style. Vintage camera’s, are also a part of her arsenal, mostly 35mm, medium and large format film. Oil and gold leaf on silver gelatin evoke the past while the narrative becomes a bit disturbing."
