Dreams Only Money Can Buy

     We all have an innate yearning to bolt from our mundane day to day lives and find a soft, pretty, perfect beach. Not all of us know where it may be, we just know that we want it. We want it bad. About a week ago, I realized I was beginning to go a bit insane. I hadn't done anything remotely creative (let alone manipulating milk over espresso at my bitch day job) in almost months, and I was itching to get out and find something fantastic. Unfortunately, it was said day job that gave me the final push to go out and do. I was asked to curate a few art installations to hang on the walls of my cage (workplace), so I took that and I ran. I didn't stop running until I surfaced at the doors of the Art Gallery of Ontario, not knowing what the hell I was looking for. I walked down to the rental gallery, through two immaculately polished glass doors- and there he was. James fucking Robert Durant. Do you guys even know? Neither did I. I was floored, and knew I had to have him. I immediately pulled the rentals manager off her computer, and demanded her to show me the rest of his fleet of work. Approximately seven minutes later, I realized there was a pool of my drool all over her keyboard. 

James' stuff is the kind that makes you feel like you're there. On that beach. Wherever the hell it is for you, he will send you there. Talk about idyllic perception. All of the love for this (incredibly modest) dude.
